BonaFide Realty (herein referred to as "BFR") respects the importance of protecting the privacy of certain information collected about its users and visitors (herein referred to as "Users"). This Privacy Policy discloses whatever information BFR gathers, how BFR uses it, and how to correct or change it. It is BFR'S intention to give Users an understanding about how BFR collects information and the use of it in the course of its business. BFR will not disclose Personal Information to third parties without its Users consent, except as may be noted in this Privacy Policy or disclosed when the information is submitted.
BFR gathers two types of information about its Users:
1) Information that Users provide through voluntary registration on its website, and 2) Information gathered through aggregated tracking of pages viewed by Users throughout its website.
BFR collects information by specifically requesting it from its Users when its Users register, request information or a service. BFR also uses its Users information to inform its Users about other products and/or services available from BFR and its affiliates.
Cookies
The main purpose of cookies is to identify Users and possibly prepare customized Web pages for them. When Users enter a website using cookies, Users may be asked to fill out a form providing such information as name and interests. This information is packaged into a cookie and sent to the Users Web browser which stores it for later use. The next time Users go to the same website, the browser will send the cookie to the Web server. The server can use this information to present Users with custom Web pages. So, for example, instead of seeing just a generic welcome page Users might see a welcome page with their name on it.
Cookies do not tell BFR its Users individual identity unless the Users have chosen to provide it to BFR. BFR never saves passwords or credit card information in cookies. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and as such, Users will find that most major websites use them. Most cookies expire after a defined period of time, or Users can delete their cookie file at any time. Most Web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies.
Users may occasionally get cookies from BFR business partners. BFR and/or its affiliates do not control these cookies. The use of advertising cookies sent by such third-party web servers is standard in the Internet industry.
Information Sharing
BFR will not disclose any specific personal information that Users submit about them ("Personal Information") in a manner that connects its Users with the Personal Information, except when BFR has its Users permission or under special circumstances, such as when BFR believes in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the ways that Your Personal Information may be disclosed.
Business Partners & Sponsors
BFR may disclose some or all of its Users Personal Information to business partners or sponsors, but this use will be specifically described to its Users prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. Many promotions offer opportunities to request additional information from sponsors. By requesting more information, Users give BFR permission to transfer Users Personal Information to the sponsor so they can fulfill Users request. In many instances, only Users e-mail address will be shared. If more Personal Information will be shared with the sponsor, Users will be notified prior to the transfer.
Third Party & Aggregate Data
Users may be offered the opportunity to receive materials or special offers from third parties. If Users opt to receive information from these third parties, BFR will (with Users permission) share Users name and e-mail address with such third parties. Under confidentiality agreements, BFR may match Personal Information with third party data. Also, BFR may keep track of what portions of the website Users are visiting and other Users statistics, and aggregate this information to help BFR create a better experience for its Users. This is all done without knowing Users name or other Personal Information in order to describe BFR viewers and services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.
Other
BFR may also disclose account information in special cases when BFR has reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating its Terms of Use, or may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with any of BFR rights or property, other Users, or anyone else. BFR may disclose or access account information when BFR believes in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that BFR deems necessary to maintain, service, and improve its products and services. In case Users change their mind or some personal information changes (such as zip code or e-mail address), Users can Email Us.
You can hyperlink, or be directed to, other websites that are beyond BFR'S control and/or outside its service. For example, if Users "click" on a banner advertisement, it may transfer Users off of BFR'S website. These other websites may include sites of advertisers, sponsors, and partners that may use BFR and/or its affiliate's logo as part of a co-branding agreement. These other websites may send their own cookies to Users, collect data, or solicit Information.
BFR and its affiliates do not control such websites, and, therefore, are not responsible for their contents or the hyperlinks or advertising they choose to place on such websites. BFR and/or its affiliate's inclusion of hyperlinks to these websites do not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators. BFR'S Privacy Policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, which is beyond BFR and/or its affiliate's control.
The security of all information associated with Users is important to BFR. BFR works on providing secure transmission of Users information from the Users computer to BFR servers. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, while BFR strives to protect Users information, BFR and its affiliates can't ensure or warrant the security of any information Users transmit to BFR or from its on-line products or services, and Users do so at their own risk. Once BFR receives Users transmission, BFR uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of Users information, such as Secure Socket Layers (SSL). However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.
